The Ogre’s Bride Anime Confirms July 2026 Premiere

The Ogre’s Bride television anime adaptation is scheduled to begin its broadcast in Japan in July 2026.
This announcement was made during a stage event at Aniplex’s AnimeJapan 2026 booth on March 28, 2026.

The series is based on the romantic fantasy light novels written by Kureha and illustrated by Yu Shiroya.
The story follows Yuzu, a young woman who finds herself chosen as the bride of a powerful ayakashi in a world where humans and spirits coexist.
An official English version of the manga adaptation by Jun Togashi is published digitally by MangaPlaza.
Studio Colored Pencil Animation Japan is producing the animation with Katsuhito Omiya serving as the director.
Yumi Kamakura is handling the series composition, while Hikari Tanaka is responsible for the character designs.
The musical score for the series is being composed by Masaru Yokoyama.
The voice cast features Yuichiro Umehara as Reiya Kiryuin and Saori Hayami as Yuzuko Shinonome.
Other cast members include Manaka Iwami as Karin Shinonome, Ryota Osaka as Yota Kogetsu, and Sayaka Senbongi as Toko.
Miyu Kobashi voices Ao, Momoka Terasawa voices So, and Natsuki Hanae provides the voice for Tokichi Nekota.
