The newly revealed cast includes Jun Kasama as Culgan and Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Seed, both of whom bring significant experience from popular fantasy anime titles.

Other additions to the voice talent lineup are Megumi Han as Leknaat, Shota Hayama as GenGen, Ryunosuke Watanuki as Rikimaru, Saya Hitomi as Rina, Mizutama Umino as Eilie, and Yusuke Sasaki as Bolgan.

Directed by YUZO at studio KONAMI animation, the series is a direct adaptation of the story from the beloved Suikoden II video game originally produced by Konami Digital Entertainment.

The creative staff features Michihiro Tsuchiya handling series composition, Ryo Yamauchi providing animation character designs, and Koji Nakamura composing the musical score.

The narrative follows two young boys named Riliu and Jowy who serve in the Highland Kingdom youth brigade before being swept into the chaos of the Dunan region war.

As the story progresses, the two protagonists must navigate a complex landscape of power and destiny as the 108 stars of destiny begin to gather.

This latest update follows a previous announcement on March 5, 2026, which first confirmed the October 2026 broadcast window and provided the initial trailer for the project.
