Kentaro Miura’s Iconic Berserk Artwork Inspires Massive New Official Zodd Statue
Prime 1 Studio has officially opened pre-orders for a breathtaking new Berserk statue that transforms one of Kentaro Miura’s most iconic illustrations of the legendary Nosferatu Zodd into an enormous 1/4 scale collectible.
Berserk, created by the late Kentaro Miura, is widely regarded as one of the greatest dark fantasy manga ever produced, following the brutal journey of mercenary Guts through a world filled with war, supernatural monsters, and unforgettable characters that have influenced generations of creators.
The latest addition to Prime 1 Studio’s “Legacy Art Kentaro Miura” series recreates the memorable artwork of Zodd standing victorious on a battlefield, faithfully translating Miura’s intricate illustration into an imposing three-dimensional display piece.
Known throughout Berserk as the immortal Nosferatu, Zodd is a legendary warrior whose fearsome reputation has endured for almost a century, with countless stories describing the mysterious fighter who continues to appear on battlefields despite supposedly falling in combat time and time again.
Every aspect of the statue has been carefully sculpted to preserve the atmosphere of Miura’s original artwork, from Zodd’s glowing red eyes and towering muscular physique to the blue veins visible beneath his skin and the realistic fur cloak draped across his shoulders.
Prime 1 Studio has also introduced new visual effects created specifically for this release, with dramatic bursts of flesh and blood erupting from both sides of the base to further emphasize the symmetrical pose and the mountain of fallen bodies beneath Zodd’s feet.
The standard edition includes a specially designed display base together with a real fabric fur cloak, while the polystone statue itself stands approximately 88 cm tall, 85 cm wide, and 65 cm deep, weighing around 45.05 kg.
Collectors looking for additional display possibilities can also choose the DX Version, which includes two interchangeable head sculpts featuring fierce and calm expressions, two interchangeable upper body sections with crossed-arm and open-arm poses, the fabric fur cloak and the specially designed display base.
Using the alternative upper body expands the statue’s overall width to approximately 112 cm while maintaining the same height and depth, with the complete DX Version weighing approximately 56.06 kg.
The lineup is completed by the DX Bonus Version, which includes everything from the DX release alongside an exclusive roaring head sculpt that captures Zodd’s battle-hungry nature, with this premium edition limited to just 350 pieces and available exclusively in Japan, weighing approximately 58.56 kg.
The standard “Legacy Art Kentaro Miura Berserk Zodd” statue is priced at ¥339,900 (approx. $2,320 USD / £1,720 GBP), while both the DX Version and DX Bonus Version are priced at ¥426,690 (approx. $2,910 USD / £2,160 GBP).
Pre-orders are now available directly through Prime 1 Studio until September 9, 2026, with all three editions currently scheduled for release between November 2027 and February 2028.
