Star Wars: Galactic Racer Reveals Official Story Trailer

Publisher Secret Mode and developer Fuse Games have officially released the story trailer for the upcoming title Star Wars: Galactic Racer.
Revealed during Summer Game Fest on June 5, 2026, the game is described as a high-stakes, runs-based reinvention of the racing genre.
The narrative focuses on the Galactic League, an underground organization founded in the Outer Rim by Darius Pax to escape the reach of official authorities.
Players take on the role of Shade, a lone racer recruited by Pax to dismantle the corrupt reign of the current champion, Kestar Bool.
The campaign features a roguelite structure where pilots choose between different events, earning unique unlocks and facing permanent consequences for crashing during a tour.
Between races, players can visit the paddock to interact with other pilots or visit Hibi’s workshop to install new parts and stat boosts.
A new location called Derven Acos was also unveiled, serving as a custom-built arena that combines various planetary conditions into a single gauntlet.
The game marks a significant expansion for the franchise by featuring podracing action on planets far beyond the traditional Mos Espa Circuit on Tatooine.
In addition to the single-player story, the title includes an Arcade mode and the first-ever online multiplayer events focused specifically on podracing.
Star Wars: Galactic Racer is scheduled to launch on October 8, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
