Sonic Frontiers Definitive Edition Receives Rating In Korea

The Game Rating and Administration Committee of Korea has officially rated an unannounced title listed as Sonic Frontiers Definitive Edition.
This rating follows a historical pattern where the South Korean regulatory body often reveals upcoming Sega projects before their formal announcement.

Previous titles such as Sonic Origins and Sonic Mania followed a similar path, receiving expanded versions known as Sonic Origins Plus and Sonic Mania Plus, respectively.
The original Sonic Frontiers was released on November 8, 2022, across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.

Since its debut, the open-world action-adventure game has reached significant commercial success with lifetime sales exceeding 457 million units.
While the base game was supported by several free post-launch content updates, this new rating suggests a comprehensive package may be arriving in 2026.
Sega has not yet provided an official comment regarding the leak or a specific release date for the potential Definitive Edition.
