Ghost Concert Anime Character Trailer Debuts Akari Murayama

The upcoming anime GHOST CONCERT: missing songs is scheduled to premiere on April 5, 2026.
A recently released trailer for the series has introduced a new cast member to the production.
The project, which is titled the Song Battle Series, is an adaptation of an independent project created by Noriyasu Agematsu, who is known for his work on the Symphogear franchise.

The latest promotional video features the character Akari Murayama, a straightforward high school student and a member of the group known as TERA.
Akari Murayama is voiced by Miyuki Sakurai and is depicted wielding a large sword named Ibukimaru in the new footage.

This announcement follows a previous character trailer released on March 13, 2026, which introduced the character Setsutei.
Creator Noriyasu Agematsu has a prolific history in the industry, having worked on titles such as VISUAL PRISON, Utano Princesama Legend Star, Technoroid OVERMIND, and the BanG Dream! franchise.
Agematsu, a founding member of the musical collective Elements Garden, originally launched GHOST CONCERT in 2017 to mark his 20th anniversary as a composer by returning to his creative roots.

The anime is directed by Masato Jinbo, who also handles series composition at studio ENGI.
Key production staff include character designer Masaaki Uikawa and art directors Tetsuya Kusama and Atsushi Satomi.
The technical team includes color designer Aiko Matsuyama, director of photography Atsushi Sato, and sound director Masanori Tsuchiya.

Musical duties for the series are being handled by Elements Garden, maintaining the connection to Agematsu’s original vision.
The story is set in the year 2045, a period where singing has been legally forbidden.
The plot follows a high school girl who begins to hear a ghostly voice that possesses her and provides her with immense power.
Crunchyroll has confirmed that it will stream the series for international audiences as it airs in Japan.
