SEGA releases the first in a new series of “conceptual” Hatsune Miku figures

Japanese prize figure manufacturer SEGA has released a new figure of the virtual singer Hatsune Miku.
The “Hatsune Miku Conceptual Series Vol.1 Luminasta” is the first in a new line of figures for the brand.

The figure is part of SEGA’s “Luminasta” line, a popular brand of prize figures known for its high-quality sculpting, dynamic posing, and its focus on capturing characters in a “shining” or particularly expressive moment.
As part of the “Luminasta” line, SEGA recently announced a set of six new figures inspired by the Project SEKAI game, which stars Hatsune Miku.

The new “Hatsune Miku Conceptual Series” release is based on a brand-new, original illustration of Hatsune Miku created by the artist Kaede Hisen.

The design features the world-famous virtual singer in a cute pose, holding onto a large straw hat whilst wearing beach attire.

The figure, which stands at approximately 21 centimeters tall, is a faithful, three-dimensional recreation of the source artwork.

This product marks the beginning of a new “Conceptual series” within the Luminasta brand, which will see figures created based on original artworks by popular illustrators, each with a unique concept behind the design.

The first figure in this line offers fans a new and charming interpretation of Hatsune Miku, based on the specific artistic vision of the guest illustrator.

The “Hatsune Miku Conceptual Series Vol.1 Luminasta” is now available to win at amusement centers across Japan.

It should be available from hobby goods stores internationally around September/October, as many prize figures now receive a general sale release outside of Japan around 1-2 months after the initial arcade/prize release.
