SEED DESTINY’s Force Impulse Gundam is the next major release in the METAL BUILD line

Full product details have been revealed for the next major release in the “METAL BUILD” line of high-end action figures: the Force Impulse Gundam.
The METAL BUILD series is a premium line of die-cast, pre-painted, and finished toys known for its high level of detail, modern design reinterpretations, and satisfying, hefty feel.

This new figure recreates the Force Impulse Gundam, piloted by Shinn Asuka, from the popular 2004 anime series, Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY.

In a major milestone for the brand, the new Force Impulse Gundam figure is the first-ever, full-fledged transforming and combining model in the METAL BUILD line.

The figure faithfully recreates the mobile suit’s signature three-part combination system, which is centered on the Core Splendor fighter jet.

The intricate engineering allows the figure to achieve this complex gimmick without sacrificing its high level of articulation.
A special, dedicated display stand is also included, which allows for the separate components – the Chest Flyer, Leg Flyer, and Force Silhouette – to be displayed in their pre-combination forms.

A highlight of the figure’s accessories is its “Excalibur” anti-ship laser sword.

This version of the weapon features an original gimmick that allows its blade to extend, and it also comes with a set of effect parts to replicate its maximum output mode.
The full set of included accessories is as follows:
- The main figure
- 4 pairs of interchangeable hands
- A beam rifle
- 2x beam saber hilts and blades
- A shield with an extending gimmick
- The Force Silhouette
- A Core Splendor
- The “Excalibur” sword with effect parts
- 2x “Folding Razor” knives
- A set of joint parts
- A dedicated display stand

The “METAL BUILD Force Impulse Gundam” is priced at ¥41,800 (approx. $285 USD / £225 GBP).

The figure will be sold via a multi-phase lottery and first-come, first-served system on the Tamashii Web Store.

An initial pre-sale for high-ranking “CLUB TAMASHII MEMBERS” will begin on the 17th of October.

A lottery for all members will then open on the 20th of October, followed by a general lottery for all customers, which is scheduled to run from the 24th to the 27th of October.
The figure is scheduled to be released in February 2026.
