Studio TRIGGER is celebrating Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 with a huge new official memorial book filled with original artwork from 122 creators involved with the anime and the wider studio.
The newly revealed “NIGHT CITY MAGAZINE 2” is a 122-page full-color collection featuring newly drawn illustrations, previously released countdown artwork and an original cover created by Edgerunners 2 character designer Ichigo Kanno.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 premiered worldwide on Netflix on October 20, returning to the dystopian world of Night City with a completely new standalone story rather than continuing David Martinez’s journey from the original anime.

Its 10 episodes follow a new cast led by Weak Kingsley, Talia Yang, Roman Carax and D, exploring another group of people drawn into the violent and technologically obsessed world surrounding Cyberpunk 2077.

The memorial book gathers artwork from across the team responsible for bringing that story to life, with Edgerunners 2 director Kai Ikarashi among the 122 participating creators.

He is joined by major TRIGGER names including Hiroyuki Imaishi, who directed the original Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, SSSS.GRIDMAN director Akira Amemiya and animator and character designer Yoh Yoshinari.
Many of the illustrations have been created specifically for “NIGHT CITY MAGAZINE 2,” while the collection also preserves the countdown artwork released in the build-up to the anime’s launch.
Kanno’s newly drawn cover was held back when the memorial book was first announced and has now been revealed alongside the start of orders, giving the collection another piece of artwork created specifically for the physical release.
The book follows TRIGGER’s much larger “THE ART OF CYBERPUNK: EDGERUNNERS” production art book, which compiled 318 pages of character designs, backgrounds, storyboards, prop settings and other material from the original anime.

That earlier release focused heavily on the production process behind David and Lucy’s story, while “NIGHT CITY MAGAZINE 2” instead acts as a celebratory illustration collection built around the second anime and the artists who worked on it.

The wider franchise has continued to revisit the original Edgerunners cast at the same time, including new Studio TRIGGER-designed premium statues of David, Lucy and Rebecca created from original concept illustrations for Prime 1 Studio.

Pre-orders for “NIGHT CITY MAGAZINE 2,” priced at ¥4,000 (approx. $25 USD / £19 GBP), are open through the official TRIGGER Online Shop until November 10, 2026, with shipping scheduled to begin in early January 2027.
TRIGGER is also reopening orders for the original “NIGHT CITY MAGAZINE” and “THE ART OF CYBERPUNK: EDGERUNNERS” alongside the new book, giving fans another opportunity to pick up the earlier collections.
