See everything inside Chiikawa’s 2026 “Year of the Horse” themed lucky bag

Pre-orders are now being accepted for the “Chiikawa Lucky Bag 2026,” a special merchandise set for the popular series.
“Lucky Bags,” or “fukubukuro,” are a popular tradition in Japan, special mystery bags filled with a variety of goods, often sold to celebrate the New Year.

This new collection is themed around the upcoming year’s Chinese Zodiac animal, the Horse.

The set includes a variety of nine different exclusive items, many of which feature new, original artwork of the Chiikawa characters dressed in cute horse costumes.

The items all come packaged in a special tote bag, which is also decorated with the new “Year of the Horse” design.

The highlight of the set is the trio of small plush toys, which feature the main characters Chiikawa, Hachiware, and Usagi in their new horse-themed outfits.

The “Chiikawa Lucky Bag 2026 (Year of the Horse)” is priced at ¥11,000, and a purchase limit of two bags per person is in effect for the pre-order period.
The lucky bag product is being sold on a made-to-order basis through the official “Chiikawa Market” online store.

The pre-order window is currently open, but it will close soon, at 12:00 PM on Monday, the 18th of August, Japan Standard Time.
The lucky bags are scheduled to be shipped to customers in mid-December 2025.
