Sanrio’s new zoo animal themed plushies may just be the cutest thing ever

An adorable new line of zoo-animal themed plushies is set to be released by Sanrio.
The “Animal Poncho Munyugurumi” collection of mascots sees 10 characters including Kuromi, Pompompurin, Hello Kitty and Pochacco, dressed in super cute animal-themed ponchos.

Munyugurumi refers to a type of soft, squeezable plush toy, often known for its unique marshmallow-like texture and adorable rounded appearance.

Sanrio consistently explores new themes and ideas with their merchandise such as seasonal themes, animals and fashion styles, with a recent release taking inspiration from Harajuku fashion for a Decora merch line.
