Sanrio Reveals New and Exclusive Sgt. Frog Collab Collection
Keroro and his fellow Sgt. Frog characters are teaming up with Sanrio for an adorable new merchandise collection featuring plush mascots, apparel, accessories and plenty of smaller collectibles.
Sgt. Frog, also known as Keroro Gunso, follows the misadventures of Keroro and his platoon of frog-like aliens after their plans to invade Earth go spectacularly off course, while Sanrio is home to globally recognized characters including Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll and My Melody.
The new collaboration with Sanrio will be available through a limited-time pop up store at Tokyo Station in August where a collection of brand new merchandise will be available for fans to collect, including plushies, keychains, badges and more:
Squishy Plush Mascots will be available in five designs for ¥2,200 each (approx. $15 USD/ £11 GBP), alongside five T-shirt designs priced at ¥3,850 each (approx. $26 USD/ £19 GBP).
Five Embroidered Drawstring Pouches will cost ¥1,430 each (approx. $10 USD/ £7 GBP), while five Printed Hand Towels will be available for ¥770 each (approx. $5 USD/ £4 GBP).
Larger everyday items include a Multi-Purpose Storage Bag for ¥2,530 (approx. $17 USD/ £13 GBP), a Tote Bag for ¥2,750 (approx. $19 USD/ £14 GBP) and an Eco-Bag for ¥1,760 (approx. $12 USD/ £9 GBP).
The collection also includes a Mug for ¥1,980 (approx. $13 USD/ £10 GBP), a Clear File for ¥495 (approx. $3 USD/ £2 GBP) and Trading Character Cards for ¥330 each (approx. $2 USD/ £2 GBP).
Five Double Acrylic Keychain designs will be priced at ¥990 each (approx. $7 USD/ £5 GBP), while five Acrylic Charms will cost ¥330 each (approx. $2 USD/ £2 GBP).
Fans looking for more character accessories can choose from Trading Acrylic Keychains featuring five possible designs for ¥880 each (approx. $6 USD/ £4 GBP) and five Shaka Shaka Acrylic Keychains priced at ¥1,320 each (approx. $9 USD/ £7 GBP).
Five Embroidered Pin Badges will be offered for ¥880 each (approx. $6 USD/ £4 GBP), while Trading Can Badges will feature five possible designs for ¥495 each (approx. $3 USD/ £2 GBP).
Sticker collectors can pick up a Sticker in a Tin for ¥880 (approx. $6 USD/ £4 GBP), a Sticker Sheet for ¥660 (approx. $4 USD/ £3 GBP), five different Die-Cut Stickers for ¥275 each (approx. $2 USD/ £1 GBP) and a Flake Sticker set for ¥1,100 (approx. $7 USD/ £5 GBP).
A Spring-Clasp Pouch priced at ¥1,320 (approx. $9 USD/ £7 GBP) completes the announced lineup and will arrive slightly later than the other items, with sales beginning on August 14.
Customers will also receive one randomly selected message card for every ¥3,000 (approx. $20 USD/ £15 GBP) spent on merchandise.
Those spending at least ¥5,000 (approx. $34 USD/ £25 GBP) in-store will additionally receive a paper shopping bag, with this particular bonus unavailable through online purchases.
The Sgt. Frog x Sanrio Characters pop up store will be held at Ichiban Plaza on the B1 floor of Tokyo Character Street in Tokyo Station Ichiban-gai from August 7 through August 20, 2026.
The store will operate from 10:00 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. throughout the event, closing earlier at 6:00 p.m. on the final day.
Entry between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on the opening day of August 7 requires an advance ticket reservation.
Fans unable to visit in person will be able to purchase items through the Tokyo Character Street Online Plaza.
