Sanrio announces four huge new merch collections featuring fan-favorites
Sanrio has announced four huge new merch collections featuring some of their most popular characters.
Set to release at the end of the month, the collections featuring Hello Kitty, Little Twin Stars and Keroppi will be released through Avail, a popular Japanese fashion and casual wear retailer.
The collaboration features a wide range of items, with one collection placing a special spotlight on the 50th Anniversary of Little Twin Stars (Kiki & Lala).
Sanrio is renowned for its extensive collaborations that bring its characters to life across various product categories including apparel, accessories and home goods.
This latest wave of merch with Japanese retailer Avail, known for their trendy yet affordable apparel and general merchandise, joins other recent collections such as the Hello Kitty summer series and Heisei Kogal Series.
Let’s take a closer look at the four new merchandise collections being released!
Hello Kitty
The first range of merchandise in the collection is based on Hello Kitty.
Designs including patterns like zebra and leopard print, as well as a hot pink range, give the range a classic Gyaru feel.
Stand-out items include handbags, tote bags, accessory organisers and pajamas.
Little Twin Stars
This fashion and accessory collection has been created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of popular characters Kiki and Lala, featuring accessories in soft pastel colours to reflect the twins.
The range includes a selection of tote bags, multiple different sock designs and home storage accessories.
Keroppi
This collection features Sanrio’s popular and adorable frog character, with a range of useful everyday items including sandals, cushion, keychains and apparel.
Sanrio Characters
This range includes a variety of goods featuring some of Sanrio’s most popular characters.
It includes miscellaneous goods such as accessories, mascot keychains, apparel and even UV protective sunwear.
Prices for items in each collection start from 390 yen, with the most expensive items retailing for just 3,300 yen, which makes all of these adorable collections super affordable for fans.
Items will be available from June 28th, 2025 at Avail stores nationwide, though customers should note that the Obaraida, Shinkurashiki, and Aizumi stores are excluded from this release.
Fans those fans planning to to shop online the Avail official online store will begin sales at 12:00 PM JST on the same day.
