Premium Bandai US Launches Gundam Winter Fest With Over 200 Gunpla Kits and Rare Gundam Base Exclusives
Premium Bandai US is kicking off a huge new Gunpla event, bringing back more than 200 model kits and accessories for a limited time, including a selection of exclusive kits normally available through Gundam Base stores.
The new “Gundam Winter Fest” brings together returning Gunpla kits across multiple grades, including High Grade, Real Grade and Master Grade, alongside special-edition kits, decals, Action Bases and Surprise Gunpla Bundles, giving US collectors another opportunity to pick up releases they may have previously missed.
One of the biggest attractions is the temporary online availability of Gundam Base limited kits, which are normally sold through Bandai’s dedicated Gundam retail stores and selected pop-up events, making them more difficult to purchase without visiting one of these locations.
The promotion follows Premium Bandai US’s Gundam Summer Fest 2026, which similarly brought a large selection of exclusive kits online, including premium-finish versions of Wing Gundam Zero, Sazabi, and other popular mobile suits.
For Gundam Winter Fest, Bandai is offering another mixture of Gundam Base exclusives and returning releases, with the featured lineup including several kits that have received limited distribution since their original launches.
Some of the returning Gunpla include:

A special edition of Wing Gundam Zero EW Ver.Ka that replaces its traditional colors with a striking black and neon-pink design, retaining the Master Grade’s enormous feathered wings and detailed transformation mechanisms.

A modern recreation of the original 1980 Gunpla kit, retaining its retro proportions while introducing improved assembly techniques and an exclusive blue-and-white Gundam Base color scheme.
A High Grade kit based on the Neo Zeon mobile suit from Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack – Beltorchika’s Children, equipped with six Funnels, a Beam Rifle, shield, and Beam Sword-Axe.
A premium version of Quattro Bajeena’s golden mobile suit from Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, using Bandai’s Mechanical Core Plating technology to create a deep metallic shine across its armor.
The Hyaku-Shiki is a particularly interesting addition, having originally launched as a Gundam Base exclusive in October 2025, with its initial Japanese release restricted to registered members of the Gundam Base loyalty program.
Meanwhile, the Best Mecha Collection RX-78-2 Gundam revisits the first-ever Gunpla kit from 1980, combining the original model’s nostalgic appearance with more than four decades of advances in Bandai’s plastic model engineering.
Beyond individual kits, Gundam Winter Fest also introduces the return of Premium Bandai’s Surprise Gunpla Bundles, offering collectors a mystery selection of models for a fixed price.
The first bundle contains seven randomly selected Gunpla kits for $180, with the exact selection remaining a surprise until the package arrives, providing an alternative for collectors who enjoy building different models without choosing each one individually.
Premium Bandai US also offers free shipping on orders over $99, meaning many of the larger kits and the $180 Surprise Gunpla Bundle can qualify without requiring additional purchases.
The new “Gundam Winter Fest” officially began through Premium Bandai US on November 6, 2026, at 5:00 PM PST and will run until November 30 at 11:59 PM PST.
Individual products will be available in limited quantities, so some of the returning kits may sell out before the promotion concludes.
