Exclusive new Gunpla kit of Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam’s Hyaku Shiki prepares for launch
BANDAI SPIRITS is set to release a new, exclusive Gunpla kit: the “MG 1/100 Gundam Base Limited Hyaku Shiki Ver. 2.0 [Mechanical Core Plating].”
This new Gunpla kit is a special version of the popular “Master Grade 1/100 Hyaku Shiki Ver. 2.0” from the classic anime series, Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam.
The kit features a brand-new, premium finish called “Mechanical Core Plating.”
This is a technical method where vapor deposition plating is applied only to the “core” or inner side of the parts.
This technique creates a beautiful, deep gloss and a high-density, luxurious appearance, even on a straight-built model without any extra painting.
The model includes the Hyaku Shiki’s signature armaments, such as the Clay Bazooka, Beam Rifle, and Beam Sabers, which can also be mounted on its backpack.
The “MG 1/100 Gundam Base Limited Hyaku Shiki Ver. 2.0 [Mechanical Core Plating]” is a Gundam Base exclusive item, priced at ¥17,600 (approx. $119 USD / £95 GBP).
The kit will be a GUNDAM BASE exclusive and will only be sold to those enrolled in the “THE GUNDAM BASE MEMBERS” loyalty program.
The new “MG 1/100 Gundam Base Limited Hyaku Shiki Ver. 2.0 [Mechanical Core Plating]” is scheduled to be released at Gundam Base locations on Saturday, the 25th of October.
