Pre-orders open for new statue of Kakegurui’s Mary Saotome

A new 1/6 scale figure of the character Mary Saotome from the popular gambling-themed manga series Kakegurui has been announced by the manufacturer Union Creative.
Kakegurui, created by the writer Homura Kawamoto and the artist Tōru Naomura, is a psychological thriller set in an elite high school where the students’ social hierarchy is determined by a series of high-stakes and often dangerous gambles.

Mary Saotome is a key character in the series, a sharp and often prideful gambler who serves as a major rival to the protagonist.

This new, large-scale figure is a pre-painted, complete statue that stands at an impressive height of approximately 31.5 centimeters.

The sculpt is designed to capture Mary’s confident and headstrong personality.
She is depicted in a dynamic pose, with a downward-glancing, confident smile that suggests she is certain of her victory in a gamble.

The figure is surrounded by a swirl of playing cards that appear to be flying through the air, creating a sense of tension and a feeling that a specific, dramatic moment has been frozen in time.

The display base is also designed to look as if it is covered in fallen playing cards and is finished with both a matte and a gloss texture to give it a more luxurious feel.

The figure is a premium, high-end collectible for fans of the intense series.
The “Kakegurui Mary Saotome” 1/6 scale figure is priced at ¥25,300 (approx. $172 USD/£127 GBP).

Pre-orders for the new figure are currently open via the Union Creative online store and will be accepted until 11:59 PM on the 23rd of October, Japan Standard Time.
The figure is scheduled to be released in March of 2026.
