Pokémon's Sold-Out Poké Ball Wedding Ring Holder Is Officially Getting a Re-Release

One of Pokémon’s most unique pieces of functional merchandise is officially returning, with Japanese character jewelry brand U-TREASURE announcing a re-release for their much sought-after Poké Ball shaped ring holder.

The “Poké Ball Accessory Case” recreates the familiar Poké Ball as a substantial 10 cm-wide container designed for rings, necklaces and other small accessories, complete with a glossy finish and dedicated metal display stand.

U-TREASURE has worked extensively with Pokémon over the years, specializing in higher-end jewelry that includes engagement and wedding rings alongside pieces based on individual Pokémon.

Its bridal range was expanded earlier this year with 21 additional Pokémon engraving options, taking the selection available for personalized engagement and wedding rings to more than 100 designs.

The Poké Ball case has similarly become closely associated with the brand’s Pokémon jewelry, providing a more elaborate alternative to a conventional presentation box for rings and other smaller pieces.

This isn’t the first time U-TREASURE has offered the design, with an earlier version becoming popular enough to sell out before an upgraded edition was released in July 2018.

The 2018 renewal changed both the cushioning inside the Poké Ball and the specifications of its outer packaging, with all subsequent restocks in the years since continuing to use the improved version of the design.

The spherical case itself is handmade from MDF wood and weighs approximately 270 g, giving it considerably more substance than the plastic Poké Balls normally produced as toys or display accessories.

Its red and white halves are connected magnetically, while another concealed magnet in the bottom secures the Poké Ball to the included circular metal stand and prevents it from rolling across a surface.

Opening the case reveals a padded interior intended for jewelry, although the cushion can be completely removed to create additional space for storing other small items.

U-TREASURE also recommends fans use the Poké Ball as an alternative ring box for anniversaries and proposals, directly referencing Professor Kukui’s memorable Poké Ball proposal to Professor Burnet in the Pokémon Sun & Moon anime.

The presentation continues with its outer box, which uses thick rayon shantung fabric chosen for its firm construction and glossy appearance.

The “Poké Ball Accessory Case” is priced at ¥15,400 (approx. $99 USD / £73 GBP), with purchases currently limited to two per customer.

Pre-orders are now open through U-TREASURE’s official Japanese online store until September 30, 2026, with orders scheduled to begin shipping from October 28.
