Pokémon’s Second 30th Anniversary Charm Collection Focuses on Legendaries

Takara Tomy Arts has announced a new addition to their official lineup of commemorative merchandise based on the classic Pokémon video games.
The “Pokémon 30th Anniversary Metal Charm Mascot ~Kanto, Johto, Hoenn~” collection is set to arrive as part of the ongoing festivities celebrating three decades of the popular franchise.

This milestone honors thirty years since the original release of the games in Japan.

The anniversary has already seen several significant projects, including the massive reveal of Pokémon Winds and Waves for the Nintendo Switch 2.

The upcoming adventures will introduce fans to a brand new trio of partner Pokémon known in English as Browt, Pombun, and Gecqua, alongside the debut of two special sun-kissed mascots named Kazepika-kun and Namipika-chan.

Other commemorative celebrations have included the release of a miniature GAME MUSIC COLLECTION device that plays 45 classic tracks from the original 8-bit games, handcrafted porcelain statues of Pikachu and Eevee from luxury brand LLADRÓ, and the announcement of a new Pokémon Jet project from ANA featuring aircraft themed after the original red, green, and blue versions.

This second wave of metal charms expands upon the initial early March 2026 release, which featured 3.5cm charms of the Kanto starter Pokémon and Pikachu.

This latest collection shifts focus toward the legendary and mythical creatures that defined the early generations of the series.

These new mascots measure between 4cm and 5cm and feature a convenient silicone rubber ring for use as a marker on umbrellas or bottles, as well as a lobster clasp that allows them to be attached to keychains or zippers.
