Panasonic reveals official Final Fantasy XIV gaming neck speaker
A new official collaboration has been announced between Panasonic and the globally popular MMORPG, Final Fantasy XIV.
The new product is the “SC-GNW10S-FF,” a wireless gaming neck speaker designed specifically for Warriors of Light.
Final Fantasy XIV is the critically acclaimed online RPG from Square Enix, which is currently on its fifth expansion, “Dawntrail.”
The speaker is engineered for an immersive experience, featuring a 4-speaker system for surround sound, a comfortable ergonomic design, and a low-latency wireless connection.
This collaboration is packed with deep-cut details from the game. The speaker unit itself is adorned with iconic job icons, while the transmitter features a design inspired by the meteor symbol.
The packaging is also a collector’s item, using visual art from the “Dawntrail” expansion and the in-game world map.
The customization goes even further, with the speaker’s LED lights able to switch between the game’s official role colors: blue for Tank, green for Healer, and red for DPS.
The speaker also features custom system sounds.
It plays an original melody based on the FFXIV “Prelude” when it powers on and uses the unmistakable “Content Finder confirmation” sound when switching audio modes.
A dedicated app for the device will also feature a custom theme with a moving Moogle.
This is the latest in a series of high-end merchandise for FFXIV fans, joining the recently announced second collection of primaniacs fragrances, which featured characters like Emet-Selch, Hythlodaeus, and Venat.
The “SC-GNW10S-FF” gaming neck speaker is priced at 35,200 yen (approx. $228.64 USD / £182.27 GBP).
It is scheduled to be released in mid-December 2025, and pre-orders can be placed via the official Panasonic online store.
