Relaunch Confirmed for Exclusive Hatsune Miku x Gundam Figure
A popular prize figure from the “Gundam 45th Anniversary x Hatsune Miku” collaboration project is being re-released by Bandai.
The figure features Hatsune Miku wearing a “Zakugurumi,” a “kigurumi” or costume pajama, of the iconic MS-06 Zaku II mobile suit.
This unique design originated from a collaboration music video released as part of the Gundam 45th anniversary celebration, which has since amassed over 2.68 million views on YouTube.
The Gundam 45th Anniversary x Hatsune Miku “Zakugurumi” figure is a non-articulated and pre-painted figure that stands approximately 15 centimeters tall.
It shows the virtual singer Hatsune Miku dressed in a cute, green Zaku costume, holding a leek, and features cute details such as a “button” mono-eye sensor on the hood and realistic-looking seam lines.
As a “prize item,” this figure will not be available for direct purchase at retail stores within Japan.
It will instead be exclusively available to be won in crane games and other arcade machines from April 28, 2026.
The figure may be available from some hobby goods stores outside of Japan, though availability may vary due to licensing restrictions.
Any international release typically takes place around 2 months after the initial Japanese arcade release.
Bandai will also be re-releasing a special wireless speaker based on the “Gundam 45th Anniversary x Hatsune Miku” collaboration.
The “Gundam 45th Anniversary x Hatsune Miku: Lively Haro Speaker Miku ver.” is shaped like Haro, maintaining its signature spherical design.
However, it incorporates Hatsune Miku’s iconic turquoise color scheme and signature hair accessories.
It serves as an external speaker that can connect wirelessly to computers or smartphones, with sound emanating from Haro’s mouth as its eyes light up.
The speaker will be released in Japan as a crane game prize on April 23, several days earlier than the April 28 release of the “Zakugirumi” figure.
