Orders Open for Detailed New Gundam SEED Souvenir Jackets
Bandai has begun pre-orders for brand new premium apparel based on the iconic anime series “Mobile Suit Gundam SEED”.
Two stunning embroidered Sukajan jackets will be released under the “STRICT-G” Gundam lifestyle brand, featuring two of the series’ most iconic mobile suits – the Freedom Gundam and the Justice Gundam.
Directed by Mitsuo Fukuda, “Mobile Suit Gundam SEED” reinvigorated the iconic mecha series for a new generation of fans in the early 2000s.
The emotional story focuses on the tragic conflict between genetically enhanced Coordinators and unmodified Naturals.
Childhood friends Kira Yamato and Athrun Zala find themselves fighting on opposite sides of this devastating war.
Kira eventually pilots the powerful Freedom Gundam, while Athrun takes command of the formidable Justice Gundam.
These high-performance machines represent a turning point in the conflict, designed with overwhelming firepower and advanced mobility.
A Sukajan, also known as a souvenir jacket, features a glossy satin fabric decorated with vibrant and intricate embroidery.
The style originated when American soldiers stationed in Yokosuka, Japan, had traditional Japanese motifs stitched into their clothing.
The dedicated Gundam fashion brand “STRICT-G” has carefully adapted this classic fashion staple to feature dynamic, traditional Japanese-style illustrations of the iconic mobile suits.
Both jackets are fully reversible, offering a more subdued and simple design on the inside based on the specific machine’s color scheme.

The black and vermilion body highlights a bold Japanese-style embroidery of the Justice Gundam on the back, with a maroon inner lining on the reverse side.
Both designs are available in a range of sizes, including Medium, Large, Extra Large, and Double Extra Large.
Pre-orders are currently open via the Premium Bandai online store and will remain available until Sunday, May 10, 2026.
The jackets are scheduled to begin shipping to buyers in May 2026.
Fans can also purchase these items in-store at physical STRICT-G locations across Japan starting Saturday, April 25, 2026.
