ONE PIECE MUGIWARA STORE’s new Egghead Arc goods include an exclusive Gear 5 Luffy rug
Two new merchandise items have been released, based on the opening animation sequence of the “Egghead Arc” from the One Piece anime series.
The “Egghead Arc” is the current storyline in the long-running series, which sees the Straw Hat Pirates arrive on a futuristic, high-tech island.
The first new item is a “Woven Placemat,” a dining placemat that uses a detailed weaving technique to recreate a scene of the entire Straw Hat crew from the “Egghead Arc” opening.
The second product is a much larger “Woven Rug,” which measures approximately 95 by 165 centimeters.
This decorative rug features a dynamic, woven image of the protagonist Monkey D. Luffy in his powerful “Gear 5” form, also taken from the opening animation.
The two new products have different release schedules and sales methods.

The woven placement was released for sale on Friday, the 29th of August, 2025, at all physical ONE PIECE MUGIWARA STORE locations and on the MUGIWARA STORE Online.
Pre-orders for the woven rug began on Friday, the 29th of August, exclusively on the MUGIWARA STORE Online.
The pre-order period will run until the 28th of September, 2025, with the rug scheduled to ship in late December, 2025.
An in-store release is planned for a later date after pre-orders have been fulfilled.
