New One Piece Café in Los Angeles to offer exclusive menu and merch
Toei Animation has announced that an official One Piece Café will be opening in Los Angeles.
The new establishment, located in the city’s Little Tokyo district, will be the second official café for the franchise in the United States, following the successful launch of a location in Las Vegas in May of 2024.
One Piece, based on the manga by Eiichiro Oda, is one of the most successful and long-running entertainment franchises in the world, with a massive and dedicated global fanbase.
The series regularly holds real-world events for fans to take part in, such as a recent collaboration with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The new café is designed to be an immersive experience for fans, with décor and a full menu of food and drinks inspired by the series’ characters and world.
The menu will feature a variety of exclusive, character-themed items.
These include a spicy chicken katsu sandwich and a garlic soy beef yakisoba dish, both inspired by the Straw Hat Pirates’ cook, Sanji.
Other themed items include “Hatchan’s Takoyaki” and “Robin’s Flower-Flower Power Refresher,” a blueberry lavender lemonade.
A selection of artisan donuts will also be available, with designs such as the “Gum-Gum Devil Fruit Delight,” which is an ube-flavored donut, and “Zoro’s Gold Mark,” a chocolate and matcha creation.
In addition to the food and drink, the café will serve as a retail location for a line of limited-edition merchandise that will not be sold online or at any other location.
The exclusive product line includes character-themed T-shirts, tote bags, drinkware, pins, plushies, and keychains.
To celebrate its launch, the café will be hosting a grand opening giveaway.
The first ten guests in line will receive a tote bag containing approximately $100 USD worth of One Piece merchandise.
The next fifty guests will receive a tote bag containing items valued at around $50 USD, and the following forty guests will also receive a complimentary tote bag.
The new official One Piece Café is located at 241 S. San Pedro Street in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles and it is scheduled to have its grand opening on Saturday, the 2nd of August, 2025.
