MSI Teases New Attack on Titan Gaming Collab Collection
MSI has officially announced that a new Attack on Titan gaming collaboration is on the way, teasing a range of special-edition products that will bring the globally popular anime franchise into the company’s gaming hardware lineup.
The partnership was revealed on September 9 as part of the first officially recognized “Attack on Titan Day,” with MSI joining the huge number of brands celebrating the manga’s 17th anniversary.
The official Attack on Titan website has confirmed that the upcoming MSI collab collection is planned for worldwide release rather than being restricted to Japan or another individual market.
That should make the collaboration considerably more accessible than many of the merchandise announcements surrounding Attack on Titan’s anniversary, particularly for fans in the US and Europe looking for officially licensed gaming hardware.
MSI already has plenty of experience turning major anime and gaming franchises into limited-edition PC equipment, which gives fans some idea of just how substantial an Attack on Titan collaboration could potentially become.
Its previous Evangelion partnership transformed EVA Unit-01 into a coordinated gaming setup featuring a motherboard, PC case, power supply, and liquid cooler, using the Eva’s familiar purple and green coloring throughout the range.
Monster Hunter subsequently received an even broader MSI collaboration spanning laptops, graphics cards, monitors, motherboards, PC cases, cooling equipment and controllers, showing how far the company is willing to take a major gaming partnership.
More recently, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End received its own MSI collection built around an RTX 5070 Ti graphics card alongside a wireless keyboard, mouse and matching mouse pad.
Those previous collaborations have ranged from individual peripherals to components capable of forming an almost complete themed gaming PC, making Attack on Titan a particularly interesting fit for MSI’s next special-edition project.
The timing of the announcement also carries considerably more significance than a normal product teaser, with September 9, 2026 marking exactly 17 years since Hajime Isayama’s manga began serialization in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine on September 9, 2009.
Japan’s Anniversary Association has now formally registered September 9 as “Attack on Titan Day,” establishing the manga’s debut date as an annual celebration for the franchise.
Other Attack on Titan Day celebrations include a new commemorative visual featuring the Nine Titans, original artwork from Hajime Isayama, anniversary merchandise, and the first 99 chapters of the manga becoming free to read for 99 hours through Magazine Pocket.
The wider anniversary period has already produced several substantial merchandise announcements, including an 18-piece Graniph apparel collection and Bandai’s upcoming “Dedicate Your Hearts” Ichiban Kuji featuring large MASTERLISE figures of Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Erwin, Hange and Levi.
MSI has so far stopped short of showing exactly which products will make up its Attack on Titan collection, with the initial teaser only confirming that a special-edition gaming range is on the way and will receive a worldwide release.
No reveal date, pricing, or launch window has been announced yet, leaving the actual hardware as one of the remaining mysteries from this year’s Attack on Titan Day celebrations.
