A new collection of luxury circular skirts inspired by the world of Kingdom Hearts has been announced by the fashion brand MAYLA.
Kingdom Hearts, the popular RPG series from Square Enix and Disney, first launched in 2002 and has since shipped over 37 million units worldwide.
The series follows Keyblade wielders as they travel through various Disney worlds, exploring themes of light, darkness, and the heart.
The new skirt collection is from MAYLA, a Japanese fashion brand known for creating elegant and ornate designs based on popular anime and gaming franchises.
The new lineup translates the game’s unique world into wearable luxury with an unprecedented use of voluminous fabric.
The “Iconic Skirts” are themed around four of the series’ main characters: Sora, Riku, Roxas, and Axel.
Each skirt is crafted from heavy jacquard fabric featuring a subtle heart pattern and is accented with a luxurious velvet ribbon at the waist.
