Wing Gundam Zero’s Exclusive Cloaked Custom Premium Figure Officially Returns to the US
Gundam Wing’s impressive Wing Gundam Zero Cloaked Custom figure has officially returned to the US for a limited time, with Bandai restocking the exclusive anniversary collectible as part of a huge new promotional event.
The “GUNDAM FIX FIGURATION METAL COMPOSITE WING GUNDAM ZERO CLOAKED CUSTOM” is among a large selection of exclusive Gunpla kits, figures, and other collectibles returning for Premium Bandai Week 2026, which also offers a temporary reduction to the usual free-shipping threshold.
Wing Gundam Zero Cloaked Custom was first introduced in the special “Mobile Suit Gundam W -operation30th-” animated video released to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Mobile Suit Gundam Wing in 2025.
The new design reimagines Heero Yuy’s iconic Wing Gundam Zero from Endless Waltz with an enormous white hooded cloak, concealing much of the Mobile Suit’s body and signature angelic wings.
The anniversary design has been recreated as part of Bandai’s GUNDAM FIX FIGURATION METAL COMPOSITE line under the supervision of mecha designer Hajime Katoki, using ABS, PVC, and die-cast metal components.
Standing approximately 17 cm tall, the figure features a detailed white and gold finish alongside articulated wing binders that can be spread into dramatic display configurations.
Its biggest feature is the removable cloth cloak, which consists of five separate sections with internal wires that allow collectors to shape its folds and position the material around the figure.
The hood can be pulled over Wing Zero’s head, with the cloak designed to cover the body and wings or open to reveal the Mobile Suit’s arms and weapons.
Accessories include the Twin Buster Rifle, a shield and two beam sabers with clear pink effects inspired by their appearance in the anniversary animation.
Six Neue Zwerg units and the Seraphim Unit are also included, allowing collectors to recreate additional weapon configurations and more heavily equipped display modes.
The figure can also transform into Neo Bird Mode, with interchangeable components, additional hands, and a dedicated display stand expanding its posing options.
Bandai also revealed matching Cloaked Custom figures of Gundam Deathscythe Hell, Gundam Heavyarms Kai, Gundam Sandrock Kai and Altron Gundam at TAMASHII NATION 2025, although none of the four has yet been formally confirmed for production.
Wing Gundam Zero Cloaked Custom has also appeared on the official packaging for the 4K remaster of Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz Special Edition, with newly drawn artwork featuring the cloaked Mobile Suit on the collection’s storage box.
