New I Want To End This Love Game Anime Trailer Previews Opening Theme Song

A brand-new trailer and two commercials for the I Want to End This Love Game anime adaptation were released on March 31, 2026, ahead of its scheduled television premiere on April 14, 2026.
The series is set to broadcast in Japan on TOKYO MX, MBS, and BS朝日 starting in April 2026, with a simultaneous streaming release confirmed for international audiences on Crunchyroll.
The story follows childhood friends Yukiya and Miku, who have participated in a competitive love game since the sixth grade, where the first person to get flustered by an “I love you” confession loses.
Now that the protagonists have entered high school, the narrative explores whether they will finally find the courage to express their true feelings outside of their long-standing game.
The newly debuted footage previews the romantic comedy series’ opening theme song titled Kimi no Sei de Aishiteru, which is performed by CHiCO with HoneyWorks.
Additionally, the production revealed that the group PompadollS will perform the ending theme song titled Little World.
The voice cast features Kaito Ishikawa as Yukiya Asagi, Miku Ito as Miku Sakura, and Wakana Maruoka as Wakana Asagi.
Director Azuma Tani is leading the project at studio FelixFilm, working alongside series compositor Keiichiro Ochi and character designer Yuki Fukuchi.
The musical score for the production is composed by Akito Matsuda, who is well known for his previous work on Sound! Euphonium.
The announcement follows Crunchyroll’s broader Spring 2026 anime season lineup reveal, which occurred on March 24, 2026.
