Overlord's 10th Anniversary Celebrations Continue with Huge New Ainz Ooal Gown Statue from UNION CREATIVE

UNION CREATIVE has officially announced the start of pre-orders for a new premium Overlord figure that transforms so-bin’s celebrated 10th anniversary illustration of Ainz Ooal Gown into an impressive display piece.

Overlord began as a popular light novel series written by Kugane Maruyama with illustrations by so-bin before becoming one of the biggest isekai anime franchises, following the adventures of the overwhelmingly powerful undead ruler Ainz Ooal Gown after he becomes trapped inside the virtual world of YGGDRASIL.

Before becoming the feared Sorcerer King, Ainz was originally the ordinary office worker Satoru Suzuki, who played the online game YGGDRASIL under the name Momonga as a devoted member of the legendary player-killer guild Ainz Ooal Gown.

When the game unexpectedly became reality, he inherited the legacy of his fellow guild members, adopted the name Ainz Ooal Gown and took command of the Great Tomb of Nazarick before establishing the Sorcerer Kingdom that bears his name.

The latest figure faithfully recreates the special commemorative artwork illustrated by so-bin to celebrate Overlord’s 10th anniversary, bringing one of the franchise’s most recognizable images into three-dimensional form.

Standing in an imposing pose, Ainz is surrounded by the flowing robes that have become synonymous with the character, while intricate sculpting and carefully applied gradient paintwork recreate the mysterious and intimidating appearance from the original illustration.

His ornate Staff of Ainz Ooal Gown has also been reproduced in exceptional detail, with the elaborate design serving as one of the centerpiece elements of the statue alongside the flowing layers of his ceremonial outfit.

The non-scale pre-painted figure stands approximately 34 cm tall (including its display base) giving the finished collectible a commanding display presence befitting of Ainz.
