Attack on Titan's Official Cart Titan Bag Is Possibly the Most Cursed Anime Merch Ever

FuRyu has revealed a new Attack on Titan prize item, transforming the unforgettable Cart Titan into an amusing plush bag that looks like the Titan is clinging onto its wearer, with fans already calling it some of the most cursed official merch the series has ever produced.

Attack on Titan, created by Hajime Isayama, became one of the defining anime and manga series of the last decade, combining intense action, political intrigue and unforgettable Titans that have remained instantly recognizable long after the series concluded.

While many collectibles from the franchise focus on its heroes or terrifying battles, FuRyu has instead chosen one of the series’ most distinctive Titans for a novelty accessory that is equal parts bizarre and either charming or creepy, depending on your personal view of the Cart Titan.

The “Cart Titan Hugging Pochette” faithfully recreates the Titan’s long snout, low quadrupedal stance and instantly recognizable appearance in soft plush form, creating the illusion that it is wrapped around your waist while being worn.

A plush cargo crate mounted on the Cart Titan’s back doubles as the bag itself, cleverly incorporating one of the Titan’s defining features while making the accessory practical enough for everyday use.

The addition of the wooden cargo box also helps disguise much of the Titan’s body, which given the fact it is almost entirely exposed flesh could cause issues when using the bag out in public.

Whether used as an everyday accessory or displayed as part of an Attack on Titan collection, the design is certain to stand out and draw attention both from fans of the series and bemused onlookers.

The “Attack on Titan Cart Titan Hugging Pochette” will be released as a prize item at participating amusement centers and arcades across Japan in December 2026.

As with many of FuRyu’s amusement prizes, international availability has not been confirmed and may vary by region, although collectors outside Japan may still be able to obtain the item through specialist hobby import retailers or proxy shopping services once it begins appearing in Japanese arcades.
