New DJ event in Tokyo will only feature music from the BLEACH anime
BLEACH fans have something new to look forward to this June, as a DJ event set to take place in Tokyo will only play music featured in the anime series.
The exclusive event, titled “BLEACH THE DEATHBERRY SOUL GROOVER powered by aninight”, will be held on Saturday, June 28th, 2025, at Animate Ikebukuro Main Store’s “Animate Theater”.
This event will exclusively feature music from the BLEACH anime series and will include special appearances.
BLEACH, a well-known manga and anime series by Tite Kubo, has a significant global following, recognized for its action-packed storylines, memorable characters, and a distinctive soundtrack that has spanned numerous seasons and films.
The upcoming event is part of the larger BLEACH THE DEATHBERRY initiative, which includes various activities in the Ikebukuro area.
The “SOUL GROOVER” event will commence with a screening of a specially selected episode from the anime BLEACH, personally chosen by Masakazu Morita, the voice actor for the series’ protagonist Ichigo Kurosaki.
This screening offers an opportunity to experience BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War on a large screen and with powerful sound, and attendees are encouraged to bring penlights and cheer along with the action.
Following the screening, the program will transition into a “Soul Session” talk show featuring Masakazu Morita alongside DJ Kazu, with Mao Yabuki as the host.
Morita will also take the stage as a guest DJ during the subsequent “DJ Time,” joined by resident DJs NaePi-YO and KAN TAKAHIKO.
Advance tickets for the event will go on sale starting Friday, May 31, 2025, at 6:00 PM JST, and will be available until Friday, June 27, 2025, at 11:59 PM JST.
- Advance Tickets (with 1 drink): ¥8,000 (tax included) – Includes ¥7,400 admission + ¥600 drink ticket.
Should tickets remain, same-day tickets will also be sold:
- Same-Day Tickets (with 1 drink): ¥8,600 (tax included) – Includes ¥8,000 admission + ¥600 drink ticket. Sales begin after all entry queues are cleared.
- Same-Day DJ Time Only Tickets (with 1 drink): ¥4,000 (tax included) – Includes ¥3,600 admission + ¥600 drink ticket. Sales begin after 7:00 PM JST, only if remaining.
Availability for same-day tickets is subject to capacity limits.
The event is scheduled to open at 5:30 PM JST, with the screening starting at 6:00 PM JST, followed by the talk show at 6:30 PM JST, and the DJ event beginning at 7:00 PM JST.
