New Chiikawa apparel and bags feature super relatable scenes

Talking Heads has released a new collection of merchandise featuring characters from the popular Chiikawa series.
This launch introduces eight new items, offering casual and playful designs.
Chiikawa is a Japanese manga series by Nagano, known for its small, cute characters and often surreal or darkly humorous adventures.

The franchise has grown significantly in popularity, spawning numerous animated shorts, merchandise, and collaborations with major brands including Converse and UNIQLO.

The new collection includes four T-shirt designs and four tote bag designs.
Each item showcases an illustration that references a memorable moment from the series, many of which are relatable to fans everyday lives.
The designs feature various characters, including Chiikawa eating a super sour Umeboshi (pickled plum):




Another design depicts Chiikawa, Hachiware, and Usagi together with the phrase “No More Money!” a relatable and lighthearted scenario from their everyday lives:




Fans of Kurimanju will find a design featuring the character engaged in “Drinking Kurimanju”, a nod to the character’s fondness for beverages:




Finally, a design featuring Momonga and Kani in a “Manzai” act captures the comedic duo’s dynamic, inspired by traditional Japanese stand-up comedy:




These items are designed with a relaxed, appealing aesthetic, making them suitable additions for summer wardrobes.
