New Cardcaptor Sakura Game “Key of Memories” Opens for Pre-Registration

A brand-new mobile experience based on the beloved Cardcaptor Sakura franchise is preparing to launch, with pre-registration now available for smartphone users ahead of release.
Publisher KaraQ Games has officially opened sign-ups through both the App Store and Google Play for “Cardcaptor Sakura: Key of Memories,” an upcoming free-to-play title that will feature optional in-app purchases.

This new game is a Japanese port of Cardcaptor Sakura: Memory Key, which was first released internationally in China in 2023 and received an English-language release the following year.

The Cardcaptor Sakura franchise first began as a manga series created by CLAMP and serialized in Nakayoshi magazine in 1996.

Its anime adaptation aired between 1998 and 2000 and helped establish the series as one of the most influential magical girl properties of its generation.

The story later continued with the Clear Card Arc, which began serialization in 2016 and concluded with the release of its sixteenth and final collected volume in 2024.

“Cardcaptor Sakura: Key of Memories” invites players into a charming digital world populated by familiar faces from the anime and manga.

Sakura Kinomoto, Kero-chan, Tomoyo Daidouji, Syaoran Li, and other fan-favorite characters will appear throughout the game as collectible digital figures.

A major focus of the experience revolves around gathering and displaying miniature versions of Sakura, known as “Sakura Miniatures,” which players can collect and customize.

More than 100 outfits will be available for players to unlock and enjoy, ranging from costumes seen in the anime to dresses created exclusively for the game.

Players will also be able to spend time in a dedicated Gourmet Area where ingredients can be gathered and used to prepare various dishes and desserts.

Additional details regarding gameplay systems, special events, and promotional campaigns are expected to be revealed in the near future.

“Cardcaptor Sakura: Key of Memories” is scheduled to launch on June 25, with pre-registration available now via the App Store and Google Play, and the game will be free to download with optional in-app purchases.
