Netflix Releases New ONE PIECE Anime Remake Trailer

The production team behind the iconic anime franchise ONE PIECE has revealed an exciting new look at its upcoming anime remake project.
New character setting illustrations and image boards for “THE ONE PIECE,” a joint collaborative project between Netflix, WIT Studio and Toei, were unveiled in a trailer released on April 7.

This ambitious project aims to completely re-animate the original manga story from the very beginning, starting with the foundational East Blue saga.

It operates as a completely separate production from the currently broadcasting television anime series that recently celebrated its 25th anniversary.

The animation is being handled by WIT Studio, a renowned production company famous for its work on massive hits like SPY x FAMILY and Attack on Titan.

The newly released materials give fans a close look at the updated modern designs for Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, and Shanks.
The video also shows off several beautiful image boards showcasing memorable scenes and locations from the classic East Blue storyline.

This exciting animation update arrives on the exact same day as another massive announcement for the pirate franchise.

The next season of the live-action adaptation will specifically focus on the massive desert conflict known as the Alabasta arc and will be officially titled “THE BATTLE OF ALABASTA.”

Tomorrow Studios and Netflix are continuing their successful partnership with original creator Eiichiro Oda to bring these classic storylines to life in a new medium.
With both a live-action continuation and a modern animated remake on the horizon, fans of the swashbuckling series have plenty of content to look forward to in the future.
