My Melody and Kuromi show off their angelic sides for exclusive new merch line
Japanese merchandise company Marimo Craft has released a new line of goods featuring the Sanrio characters, My Melody and Kuromi.
The new collection, titled the “Angel Series,” features a range of pouches, keyholders, and other accessories.
This release is part of the ongoing celebration of My Melody’s 50th anniversary and Kuromi’s 20th anniversary.
This latest collaboration joins a selection of other releases created to celebrate the significant anniversaries, including a bunny themed merchandise line by Sanrio and a new lingerie collection by apparel brand AMOSTYLE.
The design theme for the new products casts the two friendly rivals in a lovely “angel” aesthetic, with the items featuring extensive use of embroidery and soft, frilly materials.
The collection includes a total of eight different types of items and each item is available in two different versions, one for My Melody and one for Kuromi.

The new “Angel Series” collection is currently on sale via the Marimo Craft online shop and at various general goods shops across Japan.
A wider release is also planned for the near future, as the collection is scheduled to be rolled out at select official Sanrio shops and on the Sanrio online shop beginning in early August 2025.
