My Hero Academia launches huge fan poll to rank every character’s best scene
A major new fan participation event has launched for the globally popular anime series, My Hero Academia.
The new project, titled “MHA The Animation ULTIMATE SCENE RANKING,” is a large-scale online poll designed to determine the single best scene for 42 of the series’ main characters.
My Hero Academia, based on the manga by Kohei Horikoshi, has been one of the most successful action anime series of the last decade, telling the story of a world where most of the population is born with superpowers, or “Quirks.”
This new polling event asks fans and viewers to look back on the entire history of the television anime, from its first season through the recently concluded seventh season.
The poll covers a wide array of characters, including both the aspiring heroes of U.A. High School and the formidable villains they have faced.
Fans will be able to vote for what they consider to be the definitive on-screen moment for each of the 42 individual characters.
The voting process allows for one vote per character every 24 hours, with the voting resetting each day at midnight Japan Standard Time.
The results of the poll will create a unique ranking of the most memorable scenes for each character, as decided entirely by the show’s audience.
The final rankings, including the number one scene for each character, will be announced on a significant date for the franchise.
The results are scheduled to be revealed on Saturday, the 4th of October, which is the same day as the premiere broadcast of the anime’s “FINAL SEASON.”
This positions the event as a major promotional lead-up to the conclusion of the long-running animated series.
The voting period for the “ULTIMATE SCENE RANKING” began on Tuesday, the 15th of July.
The poll is scheduled to remain open until 11:59 PM on Monday, the 15th of September.
