Music-themed Kirby prize lottery gets a re-release after 7 years with new and updated prizes

A music-themed “Ichiban Kuji” prize lottery is set for release by Bandai Spirits, starring the iconic Nintendo character Kirby.
The new “Ichiban Kuji – Kirby’s Dream Land – PUPUPU Remix” collection is a revival and update of a popular lottery that was first released in April 2018, featuring a range of charming, music-inspired prizes.

“Ichiban Kuji” is a “no-lose” lottery system where every ticket purchased wins an item from a tiered lineup of exclusive merchandise.
This “PUPUPU Remix” collection celebrates the world of Kirby through the lens of music, with prizes like a plush of Kirby wearing headphones and an alarm clock that plays a classic game tune.
The full prize lineup for the lottery is as follows:
- A Prize: Go-kigen na Kirby Plush

A cute, approximately 24cm plush of a very happy Kirby wearing a pair of headphones.

- B Prize: GREEN GREENS na Alarm Clock

An approximately 18cm diorama-style alarm clock featuring Kirby and Whispy Woods, which plays a new, arranged version of the classic “GREEN GREENS” theme.

- C Prize: PUPUPU na Headphones

A pair of functional headphones with earcups shaped like Kirby’s face.

- D Prize: Pop Small Plates

A collection of four different, randomized small plates with music-themed designs.

- E Prize: Rock na Glass

A selection of five different, selectable rock glasses with various designs, from nostalgic art to new original illustrations.
- F Prize: Classic na Towel

A collection of six different, selectable hand towels with a variety of designs, including some that look like album covers and others with pixel art.

- Last One Prize: Go-kigen na Kirby Plush Monochrome ver.

A special, monochrome version of the A Prize plush. This prize is awarded to the person who buys the final ticket.
- Double Chance Campaign
An additional online lottery to win the same “Go-kigen na Kirby Plush” as the A Prize.

This new release updates some of the popular items from the 2018 version, with the alarm clock featuring a new musical arrangement and a 24-hour display, and the glasses having an updated mold and printing method.
The lottery will be available at a wide range of retailers, including FamilyMart convenience stores, the official Kirby Cafe, and the KIRBY’S PUPUPU MARKET.

The price for one ticket will be ¥780 (approx. $5.30 USD / £4.20 GBP).
The “Ichiban Kuji – Kirby’s Dream Land – PUPUPU Remix” is scheduled to begin its rollout at stores across Japan on Saturday, the 15th of November.
Online sales of the lottery are scheduled to begin on Tuesday, the 9th of December, via the Ichiban Kuji ONLINE platform.
