Mebius Dust Anime Sets Fall 2026 Debut and Announces Key Production Team

A new teaser trailer and visual for the upcoming original anime series Mebius Dust have been released, confirming a broadcast window for Fall 2026.

The project is being produced by studio Doga Kobo, the same animation house behind the popular series Oshi no Ko.

Mebius Dust represents the third winner of Project ANIMA to receive an adaptation, following the 2017 initiative designed to source original stories from public submissions.

Previous winners from the contest include the 2021 sci-fi series Sakugan and the 2024 fantasy title The Stories of Girls Who Couldn’t Be Magicians.

The upcoming series falls under the Kids and Game category of the competition and features a story centered on three high schoolers named Araki, Stella, and Olga.

The narrative follows their daily lives in a downtown area where they participate in activities like playing video games and visiting public baths.

Directing the series at Doga Kobo is Taro Iwasaki, who is known for previous directorial work on One Week Friends and Sweetness and Lightning.

Series composition for the production is being handled by Yoriko Tomita, who previously worked on the hit series My Dress-Up Darling.

The official announcement for the Fall 2026 premiere was shared via the anime’s official website and social media channels on March 26, 2026.
