The official website for the Little Shark’s Day Out anime released a new key visual on March 28, 2026, to promote the series’ second season.
The upcoming season is scheduled to premiere on April 12, 2026, and will be broadcast at 7:00 AM on six TV Tokyo network stations during the Animori block.

This new television entry follows the first season, which originally streamed on YouTube from August 2023 to May 2024, and a feature film that debuted in August 2025.
The story continues to follow the adventures of Kozame-chan, a small shark living in Yauo town, who is voiced by Kana Hanazawa.
Production for the second season will be handled by studio ENGI with Chihiro Kumano serving as the director.
New cast members have been confirmed for the second season, including Shiori Izawa as the voice of Yoko Tamamo.

Yoko Tamamo is described as a pure white fox possessing significant supernatural abilities.

Ryota Suzuki has also joined the cast to provide the voice for Dhurandaru, a character depicted as a strong gray fox.

Based on the web manga by Penguin Box, the series will also be available for streaming on the official YouTube channel starting on April 12, 2026.
