Significant changes to the field systems were revealed, such as the new requirement to strike enemies from behind to gain a combat advantage during symbol encounters.
Travel mechanics have been overhauled to include rideable Woptors for faster traversal and a revamped fast travel system that allows players to warp from any location at any time.
The new Area Conquest feature tasks players with defeating specific enemies and powerful Area Rulers to take control of map segments and enable quick kills.
Combat details highlight the Action Ring system where character turn order is determined by speed and their physical position on nested rings.
A unique support character named Halu can be summoned into battle to replace party members, utilizing a specialized Shield and EP system for actions.
Halu can further evolve through the ATF Program, allowing players to swap his body type to match different tactical needs such as balanced or high-speed roles.
