Expelled From Paradise Game Currently Under Development
The official X account for Expelled from Paradise has announced that a new video game set within the franchise is currently in development.
This upcoming title is scheduled for release in the winter of 2026 and will feature an original story.
While specific gameplay details remain limited, the creators intend to share more information around the time the new anime film, Expelled from Paradise: Resonance of the Heart, premieres in November 2026.
The film serves as a sequel to the 2014 original and recently revealed a new teaser trailer along with updated cast and art details on November 22, 2025.
The 2014 film was a collaboration between director Seiji Mizushima and writer Gen Urobuchi, with production handled by Toei Animation and Graphinica.
In the original story, an agent named Angela Balzac leaves a digital space station to inhabit an organic body on a desolate Earth to hunt a hacker.
The protagonist is assisted by a man named Dingo as she searches for the Frontier Setter and discovers the nuances of physical existence.
Fans of the series can look forward to both the cinematic continuation and the interactive expansion of the universe throughout 2026.
