Hot Toys New Live-Action Chopper Figure Is Simply Adorable

Hot Toys has officially announced the upcoming release of a high-end collectible figure based on the hit Netflix live-action adaptation of One Piece.
The “Tony Tony Chopper Television Masterpiece Collectible Figure” captures the popular Straw Hat Pirates doctor in a stunningly detailed format.

This announcement is perfectly timed to coincide with the release of the second season, which officially launched globally on Netflix on March 10.

With fans across North America, the UK, and Europe currently streaming all eight newly dropped episodes of the Into the Grand Line arc, this premium collectible provides an exciting way to celebrate the character making his live-action debut.

The role of Chopper in the live-action series is voiced by Mikaela Hoover, and the visual transition of the non-human crew members into this setting has been a major point of discussion within the fan community.

Fans have been eagerly awaiting the reveal of how the production team would bring the iconic reindeer to life on screen.

The transition of the non-human crew members into a live-action setting has been a major point of discussion within the fan community.
This premium collectible provides audiences with one of their first highly detailed looks at the character design chosen for the upcoming episodes.

Standing at an impressive height of approximately 50cm, the figure features a newly developed head and body.

The exterior utilizes a high-quality tactile plush material to accurately recreate the fluffy brown fur that is central to his live-action appearance.
Beneath the surface, the body incorporates a specialized internal skeletal structure designed to allow for a wide range of free movement.

Collectors can articulate the piece to replicate his signature shy poses, such as hiding behind cover or sitting directly on the ground.
The facial expressions are also customizable through the inclusion of two interchangeable mouth parts.

A major highlight of the design is Chopper’s iconic hat, which is fully removable.
To complete the hatless look, the set utilizes a magnetic system that allows the ears and antlers to be easily reattached directly to the head.

Several practical accessories are included in the package, such as a blue backpack featuring a fully functional opening lid.
The set also comes equipped with four interchangeable hand parts and a specially designed display base.

The figure is currently scheduled to launch in December for a retail price of 50,000 Yen (approx. $335 USD / £262 GBP).
Pre-orders can now be placed via hobby goods retailers such as HobbyLink Japan.
