Honkai: Star Rail’s new 5-star character is Annihilation Gang’s Constance “The Dahlia”
HoYoverse has officially revealed a new 5-star character for Honkai: Star Rail.
The Dahlia, also known as Constance (CV: Mirai Sasaki), will be implemented as a Fire-type character who walks the Path of Nihility.
The Dahlia was first revealed in a trailer for the “Annihilation Gang” (Ever-Flame Mansion) back in January 2024, as a follower of Duke Inferno.
The entire gang was scheduled to visit Penacony, but they were attacked by a mysterious assailant before the Version 2.0 storyline began, leaving their fate and future appearance uncertain.
Today’s reveal post mentions “destruction” and “memory,” and is accompanied by the tagline, “The flower of betrayal blooms vividly on the path it passed—.”
Given that one of the flower meanings for “Dahlia” is “betrayal,” fans are already speculating that she may have betrayed the Destruction-following Duke Inferno.
As a Fire-type Nihility character, she is expected to be a damage-over-time (DoT) or debuff-focused unit, likely inflicting the Burn status on enemies.
Her official description also hints at a possible connection to the current Trailblaze Mission storyline on Amphoreus, referencing “thorny” memories and how “the past is being cremated.”
With The Dahlia’s implementation now confirmed, hopes are high that the other members of the Annihilation Gang: Akash the Tuner, Caterina the Shacklebound, and Dubra the Scribe, may also become playable in the future.
Honkai: Star Rail is currently available for PS5, PC, and mobile devices.
The Dahlia is scheduled to be released in the upcoming Version 3.8 update.
