Fatal Fury: City Of The Wolves DLC Adds First of the North Star’s Kenshiro this June
SNK has officially confirmed that Kenshiro from the iconic Fist of the North Star series will join the Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves roster as a Season 2 DLC character in June 2026.
The announcement follows previous teasers for the legendary fighter who is known as the sole successor to the ancient Hokuto Shinken martial art.
Kenshiro will descend upon South Town to bring his commanding presence and signature combat style to the game’s existing mechanics.
The character originates from the Japanese manga franchise created by Buronson and illustrated by Tetsuo Hara, which first began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1983.
This crossover coincides with a modern revival for the Fist of the North Star franchise, including a brand new anime iteration scheduled to premiere on Tokyo MX and BS11 on April 10, 2026, at 1:00 am JST.
The upcoming anime project features updated video technologies and a new production staff to reintroduce the post-apocalyptic legend to contemporary audiences.
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is currently available for players on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, and PC via the Steam and Epic Games Store.
SNK released a new teaser trailer on March 27, 2026, showcasing the crossover ahead of the June 2026 launch.
