New LIAR GAME Anime Trailer Debuts Opening Theme Song

An official trailer for the upcoming LIAR GAME anime adaptation has been released ahead of its scheduled premiere on April 6, 2026.

The series will be available for international audiences via a concurrent simulcast on the Crunchyroll streaming platform.

Musical duo Yorushika will provide the opening theme song titled Bubble, while Lucky Kilimanjaro is set to perform the ending theme Asahi.

The new promotional video gives fans a first listen to the opening track while showcasing the show’s intense psychological atmosphere.

The voice cast features Saya Hitomi in the lead role of Nao Kanzaki and Takeo Otsuka as the cunning Shinichi Akiyama.

Produced by the renowned studio MADHOUSE, the project is overseen by chief director Yuzo Sato and director Asami Kawano.

Tatsuhiko Urahata is handling the series composition and scripts, with Kei Tsuchiya designing the characters for the small screen.

Composer Yugo Kanno, known for his work on PLUTO, is responsible for the show’s musical score.

The plot follows an honest college student named Nao Kanzaki who is forced into a high stakes competition after receiving 100 million yen.

To survive the deceptive nature of the game, she seeks the assistance of a brilliant former con artist to navigate the betrayals of her opponents.
