hololive’s Ao Hiodoshi announces graduation following medical hiatus
The VTuber agency Cover Corporation has announced that Ao Hiodoshi, a member of the group “hololive DEV_IS,” will be graduating from her activities.
Her graduation is effective as of Friday, the 3rd of October, 2025.
Ao Hiodoshi debuted in September of 2023 as part of the five-member musical artist group “ReGLOSS,” which is under the “hololive DEV_IS” branch.
While a specific reason for her graduation was not given, she had been on a medical hiatus from her activities since March 2025.
At that time, it was announced that she had been diagnosed with an “adjustment disorder” and would be taking time off to focus on her recovery.
In its official statement, Cover Corporation thanked her for her contributions, saying:
“As a member of ReGLOSS in hololive DEV_IS, Ao Hiodoshi was energetically active for a period of approximately two years, and she contributed to the development of both hololive DEV_IS and Hololive Production.”
A final message from Ao Hiodoshi was also posted to her official X account by her manager.
The message reads:
“To everyone who supported me. It was a short time, but the time I spent in Hololive as a member of ReGLOSS was like a dream. Thank you so much for finding me. I will continue to love my readers. Just don’t forget this. It’s a promise from your No.1 handsome Ao-kun! It’s sad to say goodbye, but see you again.”
