Bandai is set to release a new set of capsule toys as part of the ongoing collaboration between the Mobile Suit Gundam and Hatsune Miku franchises.

The “Mobile Suit Gundam CAPSULE ACTION ~Hatsune Miku color Ver.~” figures are part of the “CAPSULE ACTION” series, which is a premium line of “gashapon,” or capsule toys, which features small, approximately 90-millimeter tall action figures with an impressive 38 points of articulation.

This new collection brings two of the most iconic mobile suits from the original Gundam series to the line, both of which have been recolored in Hatsune Miku’s signature teal and black color scheme.

The lineup features a total of four different figures to collect.

The two mobile suits, the RX-78-2 Gundam and the MS-06S Char’s Zaku II, are each available in two different versions.

The full lineup is as follows:

  • Gundam (Hatsune Miku color Ver.)
Miku Gashapon 2
  • Char’s Zaku (Hatsune Miku color Ver.)
Miku Gashapon 3
  • Gundam (Hatsune Miku Clear color Ver.)
Miku Gashapon 4
  • Char’s Zaku (Hatsune Miku Clear color Ver.)
Miku Gashapon 5

Each of the figures comes with its own set of interchangeable hand parts and its signature armaments.

The collection is being released in two different formats.

A gashapon version will be sold in capsule toy machines, and a separate, blind-box version will also be sold at retail stores.
