Good Smile Company’s Shinobu Oshino Nendoroid gets new and improved version

During its recent “NENDOROID FUNS” live stream, Good Smile Company revealed the upcoming release of Nendoroid Shinobu Oshino 2.0 from the popular Monogatari Series.

This announcement signifies an updated version of the character in the highly customizable Nendoroid line.

The Monogatari Series, penned by author Nisio Isin and illustrated by Vofan, is a renowned light novel franchise that has developed in popularity through its anime adaptations by Shaft.

Known for its unique narrative style, witty dialogue, and exploration of psychological themes through supernatural phenomena, the series follows Koyomi Araragi as he encounters various girls afflicted by “oddities.”

Shinobu Oshino, a central figure in the series, is a powerful ancient vampire who takes on the appearance of a young girl after losing much of her power.

Her complex relationship with Koyomi and her evolution throughout the story have made her a fan-favorite character.

Nendoroids are a distinct line of small, articulated figures recognized for their “chibi” or “super deformed” aesthetic, characterized by large heads and expressive faces.

These figures are popular among collectors due to their interchangeable parts, including face plates, body sections, and various accessories, which allow for a wide range of poses and scene recreations.
