Two Gundam F91 RE/100 Kits Set to Return as Bandai Confirms Re-Release
Bandai has announced the return of two popular RE/100 Gunpla kits from Mobile Suit Gundam F91, with kits of both the Den’an Zon and Vigna-Ghina set to receive a re-release.
Mobile Suit Gundam F91 is a 1991 theatrical entry in the Gundam franchise, introducing a new generation of characters and Mobile Suits while centering on the conflict between the Earth Federation and the aristocratic Crossbone Vanguard.
Leading the returning lineup is the RE/100 1/100 Den’an Zon, bringing back one of the Crossbone Vanguard’s primary close-combat mass-produced Mobile Suits in highly detailed 1/100 scale.
Designed for melee combat, the Den’an Zon faithfully recreates its imposing upper body, complete with spiked shoulder armor and the distinctive oversized backpack seen in the movie.
The shoulder armor features a movable axis that folds inward to significantly expand arm articulation, while builders can also choose between different head sensor configurations.
A wide selection of accessories allows fans to recreate memorable scenes from the film, including four shield effect parts that can be partially removed to display the shield in its firing configuration.
Its signature Shot Lancer includes an extendable shaft and a detachable lance tip that recreates its projectile launch mode, while the Beam Saber grips can be stored beneath the rear skirt armor.
Articulation has also been carefully engineered with multiple axis and ball joints, allowing neck lift movement, waist tilting, forward bending and dynamic airborne poses inspired by the film.
The backpack itself features movable thrusters and sensors, while the wide hip articulation makes it possible to recreate the Den’an Zon’s iconic horizontal flight pose with the Shot Lancer ready for combat.
Included accessories consist of one Shot Lancer, four shield effect parts, and two Beam Sabers.
Joining it is the RE/100 1/100 Vigna-Ghina, the custom high-ranking officer Mobile Suit piloted by Cecily Fairchild during Mobile Suit Gundam F91.
The RE/100 kit captures the Mobile Suit’s elegant curved armor and refined proportions while adopting dense mechanical detailing designed to complement the MG 1/100 Gundam F91 Ver.2.0 when displayed together.
Its distinctive Crossbone Vanguard crest is faithfully recreated using the included marking stickers, preserving one of the Mobile Suit’s most recognizable design features.
The RE/100 1/100 Den’an Zon is priced at ¥3,300 (approx. $23 USD / £17 GBP), while the RE/100 1/100 Vigna-Ghina is priced at ¥4,290 (approx. $30 USD / £22 GBP).
Pre-orders for both kits opened through Premium Bandai on July 7, 2026, with the Den’an Zon scheduled to ship in October 2026 and the Vigna-Ghina following in December 2026.
