Good Smile Company adds Berserker/Altria Caster to Fate/Grand Order Nendoroid lineup

Good Smile Company has revealed the upcoming release of a new Nendoroid based on Berserker/Altria Caster from the popular mobile game Fate/Grand Order.

The announcement came as part of a live stream event held on the 12th of June that saw the reveal of a large number of Nendoroid and Nendoroid Surprise figures.

Fate/Grand Order is a free-to-play Japanese mobile RPG developed by Lasengle (formerly Delightworks) and published by Aniplex.

Launched in 2015, the game has amassed a substantial global following due to its extensive narrative, strategic turn-based combat, and a vast roster of “Servants” – historical, mythological, and literary figures summoned as powerful familiars.

The game is also well-known for its “gacha” summoning mechanics, where players acquire new Servants.

Altria Pendragon, often referred to as Artoria Pendragon or Saber, is one of the most iconic characters across the wider Fate franchise. In Fate/Grand Order, she appears in numerous forms and classes.

The “Berserker/Altria Caster” variant, also known as “Summer Castoria” by fans, is a specific iteration of Altria Caster (who is already a prominent support Servant) that debuted as a Berserker class during a summer event.

This version is particularly recognized for her strong offensive capabilities, especially her ability to rapidly charge her Noble Phantasm and deliver significant critical damage, making her a valuable asset in many player teams.

Nendoroids are a distinct line of compact, articulated figures, approximately 10cm tall, known for their “chibi” or “super deformed” aesthetic, featuring oversized heads and expressive faces.

These figures are highly customizable, with interchangeable face plates, body parts, and accessories that allow collectors to pose characters in various ways and recreate memorable scenes.

The announcement of a Nendoroid for Berserker/Altria Caster will see her rendered in the signature Nendoroid style, likely with accessories reflecting her abilities or appearance in the game.
