Exclusive Pikachu Promo Card Revealed for Natural History Museum x Pokémon Pop-Up

As part of Pokémon’s collaboration with London’s Natural History Museum, The Pokémon Company has officially revealed a new exclusive Pokémon Trading Card Game promo card.
The card will be released as part of the “Pokécology” pop-up shop, which is inspired by the Japanese publication Pokécology: An Illustrated Guide to Pokémon Ecology.

This event mirrors similar educational initiatives seen in the franchise’s history, such as the traveling Pokémon Fossil Museum exhibitions in Japan.
The Natural History Museum event will explore the intersection of real-world natural history and the biology of Pokémon, focusing on concepts like evolution and diverse environments.

The commemorative oversized card is titled “Pikachu at the Museum” and serves as the centerpiece of the upcoming collaboration.

This specific promo features Pikachu posed within a museum setting, aligning with the educational theme of the partnership.

Fans have also been given a first look at the merchandise that will be on sale at the pop-up shop, which draws aesthetic inspiration from classic scientific illustrations and the architectural details of the historic museum building itself.
The full lineup of merchandise includes the following categories:

- Artwork:
- Pieces featuring scientific-style illustrations of various Pokémon species.
- Stationery and Posters:
- Paper goods designed for educational and decorative use.
- Clothing and Bags:
- Wearable items incorporating the Pokécology branding and museum motifs.
- Collectibles:
- Pins and plush toys representing the creatures featured in the exhibition.
The “Pikachu at the Museum” card will be available as a gift with purchase at the Cranbourne Boutique pop-up shop starting Monday, January 26, 2026.

The pop-up shop itself runs from January 26 through April 19, 2026.
Select UK retailers will also begin distributing the card as a gift with purchase on Friday, January 30, 2026.

Online availability for the merchandise collection is confirmed for the Pokémon Center and the Natural History Museum online shop, which offers worldwide shipping.
